Message 1) where you are and the availability of Zeds on the market

2) how you are marketing... local Craiglist or national BringaTrailer... or both, or FaceBook, or TikTok, or...

3) condition and mileage of vehicle

4) season

And most importantly:

5) seller knowledge and ability to conduct a profitable sale

which is broken down into areas as:

i) specific vehicle knowledge of Z for sale and ability to present the car honestly and in detail

ii) cleanliness of inside, outside, engine, undercarriage

iii) firmness of price and ability to 'sell' the car at that price... to the right buyer

...the last one is the most important. I know Zeds inside and out, but have no sales 'gift' or patience for dealing. As a result, I tend to sell low as I don't have that 'sales personality', patience and ability that my neighbor member 1995ZedX has. He sold his original '90 NA and his '95 TT at what were premium prices over local averages due to this. His buyers were happy and the cars went to good homes.

Also, from working in retail years ago, the best sales people were pleasant, knowledgeable, but firm on their pricing because they sold on with the strengths of the product, not by knocking down the price.

So, yeah, depends.
